Dr.Greenberg

David
A. Greenberg, O.D., M.P.H.
received a Bachelor's degree from Syracuse University.
He received the Doctor of Optometry degree from the New
England College of Optometry and a Masters degree in
Public Health from Harvard University.
Dr. Greenberg has long been
a nationally recognized leader
in optometric education. He served as Vice President
for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Illinois College of
Optometry from 1984 until 1997. He had previously
served on the faculty of both the Southern California
College of Optometry and the New England College of
Optometry. Dr. Greenberg has lectured extensively
throughout the United States and internationally.
Among a wide array of professional activities Dr.
Greenberg served as Chairman of the Section on Primary
Care of the American Academy of Optometry for almost a
decade, was an invited presenter at the White House
Conference on Vision and Aging and the International
Symposium on the Cornea held in Prague, Czechoslovakia.
Dr. Greenberg's publications have appeared in numerous
professional journals and textbooks including the
Textbook of Primary Care Medicine. He was also the
editor of Eye Care Digest, a national monthly newsletter
for optometrists. Dr. Greenberg currently serves as a
member of the Leadership Council of the Harvard School
of Public Health. Dr. Greenberg has served as
Executive Director of the Chicago Eye Institute since
1999. |
