Francisco Marruenda, M.D. received his M.D. degree from the Medical School of the University of Granada in his native homeland of Spain.  Subsequently, Dr. Marruenda entered a clinical fellowship in ophthalmology at Chicago's Cook County Hospital.  Upon completion of his fellowship Dr. Marruenda pursued specialty residency training in ophthalmology at Cook County Hospital.  Dr. Marruenda is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.  Dr. Marruenda brings a wealth of state-of-the-art clinical experience to the Chicago Eye Institute.
